Dear Tony,

We can not thank you enough for giving us the best memories of our special day.

We knew as soon as we saw your work at the wedding expo, that you would be able to give us the fun and funky album that we wanted. To us, having a photographer that was professional, but friendly, fun and talented was a must, and we found him in you.

On the day of the wedding you made everyone feel extremely comfortable and brought out the best in everyone. Your experience was clear when you were faced with a bride that thought she was the only star on the day, a flowergirl that thought she was the bride, and a groom that just wanted to be acknowledged!

We love the final album that you helped us design. It is not just full of random photos, but tells the story of our wedding day. It shows what a great day we had, and I love that all of our photos are very natural and there are no “fake” smiles. I take it everywhere to show off… my arm muscles have never ached so much!!

There were some very special moments that day, and thanks to you we will be able to remember them forever. It is better than we every imagined it could be.

Hi Tony,

We just want to say thank you for not only giving us a fantastic lasting memory of our wedding, but for also being more of a friend than a 'photographer' on the day. Although we really felt comfortable with you while discussing what we wanted and selecting the final photos, we felt like our photographer was a talented guest at our wedding rather than an outsider capturing images!

We love our album, and are so proud to show our friends. (And our parents each love the albums we organised for them - thank you!)

Thank you so much for making the usually stressful photography session a great experience. Not only did you take great photos but you also made it fun for all of us. You fitted in so well with our bridal party and we didn't even notice the time fly by.

We're also very pleased with the fabulous album layouts. Everyone we have shown the album to has initially been awestruck by the sheer size of it and, of course, the contents. Who would have thought that the front of a building near the freeway would produce such spectacular photos?

We had looked at quite a few photographers before we saw Tony at Take 2, but as soon as we saw his work we knew that we wanted him to do our wedding. The quality of his photos was outstanding, but what also made an impression was the way he took the time to get to know us and what we wanted in our wedding photos.

Tony suggested some great locations to complement the ones we had chosen and went out of his way to make sure we had the best possible pictures on the day.

On our wedding day, Tony was extremely professional and captured all our important moments. His calm and relaxed personality helped everything flow easily and without any interruptions or dramas, and he quickly made the effort to get to know our families and bridal party so we would all feel very comfortable during our photo sessions.

When we began organising our wedding, we both agreed that capturing the day with photographs was important us and thus finding a good photographer was a top priority. To every couple considering a photographer,

You don’t want just a photographer to capture your wedding day; you want an artist like Tony Dunkley (Take 2 Photography). We must tell you about our wonderful experiences with him.

From the very first moment we met him, my (now) husband and I warmed to him and felt like we had known him for some time so, as we both didn’t like our photo taken it was important that we felt comfortable. We sensed he had the right personality to photograph our wedding and that was before we even saw his work. Then when we did check out his work we were blown away by his capture of colour and excitement that every girl dreams of on her wedding day. We liked the fact that he listened to what we wanted and suggested things that would enhance our requests.

Before we booked Tony, I looked at 4 other photographers (because I’m like that; including one of the most expensive) and none of them captured quite what I was looking for. Don’t get me wrong; there were some great photographers out there but I guess I was just looking for that ‘something special’. I also asked for references and contacted two of them. (I know that may be going a little far but our wedding photos we just soooo important to us). I found that they had experienced exactly what I have mentioned

We would like to thank you for the fantastic job that you performed on our wedding day.

Meeting you for the first time and discussing the photos that we would like on the day, we got the feeling that you understood the type of atmosphere that we would like to convey and the type of people that we were. The ideas that you discussed were exactly what we were after and when we left your studio, we felt that this was one less problem for us to face in the lead up to what was a very busy time.

Meeting with you again and having photos before the wedding day was great as it allowed us to practice our smiles and those "looks of love" that held us in good stead on the day.

On the wedding day you were accommodating, understanding and good fun to be with. A testament to your patience was that you put up with both our families without yelling at anyone, a feat that both Natalie and myself were unable to duplicate.

The locations that you sourced were different, unusual and exactly what we were after. The final photos were of us, not just two people in a dress and a suit.

We loved every minute of our day and wouldn't change a thing. You were a large part of that. The photos are a perfect reminder of the best day in our lives and we would just like to say thank you.

To anyone considering a photographer and would like someone with a personal approach, not just a clone of every other wedding photographer that you have ever seen, you can stop looking!

From the moment we saw Take 2 Photography’s display albums at a wedding expo, we were impressed with the quality and style of the work. After meeting with Tony and discussing our plans, we were very confident that he would be the ideal photographer for our wedding. With our wedding taking place on the Leeuwin Sail Training Ship we needed someone with creativity, imagination and most of all flexibility.

We chose to have the bridal party photos taken prior to the ceremony at various locations around Fremantle. It turned out to be the hottest day of the summer and while it was hot work, Tony’s enthusiasm and sense of humour ensured this did not affect our day or the quality of the photos. The remainder of the photos were taken on board the ship, some while in dock and others during the sail to Rottnest. The very nature of the location allowed for some unique photos but also came with a few challenges, but none that Tony couldn’t deal with. After setting sail the wind was quite strong and the swell emerged, which brought on a bout of seasickness for the bride. This brought a temporary halt to proceedings, but after a few dry biscuits and some water, Tony was back, clicking away, and if I didn’t tell you, you’d never know!

When we first saw our photos we were so excited and couldn’t believe how fantastic the photos had turned out. We were amazed at the range vibrant colours and variety of shots that were captured. With so many great photos it was difficult to choose a shortlist for our album, but with Tony’s help we created a memorable story of our very special day. Tony then went to work, weaving his magic with the computer and preparing our wedding album. We thought our proofs were excellent but nothing could have prepared us for the surprise we received when we saw the final product – it was simply awesome!

Dear Tony

We wish to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all of your help with our wedding photo's, not just on our wedding day but also the ongoing ordering of more from our families!

We will always remember the fantastic day we had.

Dean and I were lucky as we both knew you from being in a previous bridal party that you had taken the photo's for. What we didn't know was how much fun we were going to have getting our own photos taken with you as husband and wife.

Although our wedding day was 40 degrees, you managed to keep us focused and took us to many different places for our photos, for which we are eternally grateful. Our entire photo shoot turned out just fantastic, especially the ones against the 3 different coloured walls. The best photos are the ones that you took when we didn't know you had taken them. Sneaky! But our wedding album now tells a story of our day, it's not simply photos of us on our day.

We wish you well and we will no doubt see you soon as you keep popping up taking photos for our friends who are getting married.
